CIRBAS operates as an independent entity with its own dedicated office address. It conducts multidisciplinary, collaborative research on critical national regional and international issues. It disseminates knowledge and information on key areas such as developmental challenges, business policies, societal well-being, environmental sustainability, economic dynamics, and industrial relations. CIRBAS serves as a bridge between research and policymaking, fostering meaningful collaboration. The centre provides a distinct institutional identity and, where appropriate, cultivates an environment conducive to multidisciplinary research by bringing together academic staff, students, and practitioners on a unified platform.
The CIRBAS will contribute significantly to the creation of knowledge through collaborative research approach.
The mission of CIRBAS is to trigger idea competition on the matters of crucial national, regional and international interests, and conduct compelling research thereon, thereby earning an international reputation for academic thinking involving the national and international academics towards the conduct of pioneering research and thereby coming up with scholarly outputs.
To ensure a conducive environment for conducting creative research and education programs having to do with contemporary business, social, environmental, and economic issues.
To make available its research findings or recommendations to the Government bodies, policy makers, social scientists and social organizations of Bangladesh and abroad so as to widen and rationalize their options for proper actions.
To disseminate the outcome of the research to the people taking policy decision and implementing thereof both at home and overseas.
To facilitate the genesis of a need based quality educational system and establish academic institutions with a view to enhancing societies.
To undertake educational, cultural, literary, scientific, innovative and development programs to bring out the potentials of future generation.
To hold or facilitate the conduct of seminar, symposium, workshop, national and international conferences on engrossing national and global issues through local & global collaboration.
To undertake and participate in different social awareness program in Bangladesh and abroad within the capacity of CIRBAS.
To facilitate implementation and/or in collaboration with institutions.
